Just sayin' Hi!!!

Wow it has been a long time since I wrote anything! Things have been going great around here... nothing new. I am still wanting to wait a little bit before I do any major wedding plans, but I only have 9 1/2 months.... AHHHHHH. Kruz loves school and is doing great! He switched to the AM class which was a hard transition for him just because of the fact that he is not a morning person(takes after his momma). Dave starts his hunts soon and so I will be alone for about 2 weeks... I hate hunting season for this reason. I think I am going to plan a girls night at my house though like I usually do just because this is the only time I get to hang out with all my girlfriends. Anyways hope all is well

So Kruz's first day of kindergarten was Tuesday August 4th. The kids have a little playground that they are supposed to go play on till the bell rings, but since Kruz was nervous and scared he just stood by me the whole time until the bell rang. After that he ran and got in line and kept yelling "bye mom! Bye I love you and miss you". He said that a bunch of times while I was taking pics and trying not to cry. Then all of a sudden he said "you can leave now mom it's ok". I didn't want to leave until I saw him walk in his class so I told him I wanted to stay and he was kind of bugged by that, but I am glad I did cause he had a nervous breakdown when they were walking in the classroom. He started crying and so the teacher had him wave one last time and then he was ok. I walked out to my truck and called Dave to tell him that it was as hard as I thought it was but didn't start crying until I called my mom, then I was hysterical!!! I am glad he is in school and that is where he needs to be.... it is just a HUGE milestone that came wayyy too fast!! He has been in school a for almost a week and he LOVES going. I used to walk him to his playground and wait for the bell to ring, but then he wanted me to start just going to the unload/load area and just let him jump out and go play with his friends. That was a little hard for me just cause he is starting to get sooo independent(which is a good thing.) It just makes me realize he is not a baby anymore :(.Anyways... hope all is well

So yesterday we had Kruz's birthday party. He got to chose everything this year(what theme, and what he wanted to do). Lucky for us it was hot hot hot so the water party was a great idea!!! Lots of our family and friends came which made it even better. Most people got there at 3 and all the kids started swimming and having a water fight. Then after that we ate some really good hamburgers and hot dogs that Dave was so nice to make for everyone. After everyone was full we filled up some water balloons and watched the kids throw them at each other. We had tons of stuff to get done so we hurried and picked up all the balloons then did the pinata, that thing did not want to break... after everyone got 2 turns Dave just tore it apart. Then the presents and cake and ice cream. It was really nice to get everyone together and talk and have the kids wear themselves out BUT I am not going to do a huge party like that every year, just on the big birthdays (like 10,15, 16). I hardly got to relax.. felt like I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Kruz said he had never had so much fun in his life so that made it all worth it. I just wanted to tell everyone that came and supported him THANKS!!! You guys made it all the more fun. I also want to tell my mom and aunt Tina THANKS for putting everything together and finding the transformer pinata :). Oh and I can't forget Paul and Kaylene THANKS for letting us use your backyard and water. LOVE ALL OF YOU!!!!

Kruz is 5!!!!

So on Tuesday July 14, 2009 my little man turned 5 years old!!! I unfortunatly had to work that day so he went to school, but was excited he got to bring his class some treats. I picked him up early and he came home and watched some T.V. and when Dave came home and got ready we closed the office an hour early and took Kruz to Applebee's for dinner. He was soo excited that they were going to sing to him and bring him some ice cream, but as soon as they did he got this weird look on his face and looked like he was about to cry LOL. After that he wanted to go see the new Transformer's movie. It was an AWESOME show and Kruz loved it. When we got back home we decided to give him all his presents from us. We got him a skateboard(he really wanted one) and of course a helmet and knee pads for that, a nice fishing pole, lots of clothes since he is starting school in a couple weeks:(, we got him a transformers football, and a missile shooter thing... so needless to say he got spoiled AGAIN!!! We are having a B-day party for him on Sunday and he is excited about that. He wanted to do a transformers party again(did one last year) but it's his party so whatever! He also wanted to have a water party since it has been so hot outside so we are getting some water balloons, slip n slides, and kiddie pools for all the kids to have fun with :). I can't believe my baby is already 5.... time for another one LOL!!!

So I figured I would let everyone know what I have been up to the last couple weekends since I haven't blogged in forever! This past weekend we went up to our friends' property. This place is so nice! 45 mins away, very relaxing and quiet. Tons of 4-wheeler trails and beautiful scenery. We had lots of people come up and had a great time! The nicest part was the Kruz got to come with us this time. Roxsie of course got hurt again from playing too rough with the other dogs and one of them ripped her ear so that was fun to deal with. Luckily there was a store 10 mins away so Dave went and got some super glue and eventually it dried and she didn't bleed anymore. The very last day we went on a long 4-wheeler ride and I got bit my something on my knee. Yesterday it was swollen to the size of a baseball and hurt and send shooting pains down my bones in my leg. Today is has made me nautious but I think I am going to be ok... hopefullly LOL. Keep reading on to see what else I have been doing and look at pics. On June 26th and 27th we had our annual fishing derby to go to. This is one camping/fishing trip I look forward to the most, especially this year. It is at Strawberry Reseviour(where I am having my reception). The first year I went my fish was the heaviest and I won $215.00 that was nice. Then the year after I got skunked.... didn't even have a nibble on my pole BUT I did win a 19" flat screen tv for our trailer. This year I caught some little fish and won a gift card to cafe rio so that is ok. I also figured out where and how I am doing my reception:). It is going to kick some major butt!!! Dave's dad's company does this derby and it is soo much fun! Tons of reps come from out of town and they are all soo awesome. Our friends also come up and we just relax, go fishing, and party(of course). One of my good friend's Savannah giving me some good ol' yager :)

So as many of you know I went dress shopping on the 16th of May. I went to David's Bridal first with my aunt Tina and maid of honor shannon. I seriously tried on 25 dresses and found one that was ok.... I was not in love with it by any means but if I didn't find any that I was in love with I would have bougth that one. The next stop was Fantasy Bridal, everyone I know has bought their dress from them. My mom met all of us there so that was great. I tried on 3 dresses including one that I was in love with on the website, but when I tried it on it was not that great! The 4th dress was one the lady picked out and I was like no way am I going to like that dress!!! I tried it on and looked in the mirror and just knew it was my perfect dress! Everyone, including other brides trying on dresses came to look at the dress on me. They all said I was glowing in it. i would explain in detail what the dress looks like, but I want it to be a surprise from EVERYONE that wasn't shopping with me. Before I got too attached I had to look at the price tag and almost started crying... this gorgeous dress that is meant for me was in my price range, it was even cheaper than what I thought I was going to spend on a dress :). So I knew at that moment this was supposed to be my dress. My mom said she would pay the monthly payments and put it on layaway. Well my mom was not able to afford the monthly payments, which made me start stressing way bad! Then my future mother-in-law came to the rescue and paid the dress off since she said she is horrible at making monthly payments LOL!! So they ordered my dress yesterday and it will be in at the beginning of September :). I would just like to tell Kaylene(future mom-in-law) how much I appreciate all she does for Dave and I and for being there for us. I would also like to tell my mom that I appreciate her trying and know times are hard for her and I am not upset with her. :)

3 year anniversary

WOW today is mine and Dave's 3 year anniversary!!! It doesn't feel like it has been three years, which I guess is a really good thing :). It is so weird, it feels like yesterday we were chatting on Match.com, then meeting for the first time a couple weeks after. We have been together ever since the first time we met, but didn't have the "title" of boyfriend/girlfriend until May 13, 2006. I just wanted Dave to know how much I love and appreciate all he does for me and our family. We have our problems, and have been through a lot together.... but we get over things REALLY fast and work things out and never go to bed angry!! I really believe he is my soul mate and know we were meant for each other, it just sucks I had to get married and engaged before I found him LOL!!! I can't believe I have a year and a 2 months before I get married. AHHHHH where has the time gone. Well hope everyone is well... and Dave if you are reading this ever I LOVE YOU!!
