WOW!!!!! So much has happened since I last posted. We will start off with the most recent and work our way back... make things much easier for me LOL!!! Well yesterday Dave started his new work schedule that none of the shop is too excited for and it's actually pretty dumb, instead of 4 ten hour days and either having Friday or Monday off they are making all the guys work 8-5 M-F. I know this doesn't sound too bad, except they are used to going in at 6 working till 5 and having Friday off, so it really sucks!!! Dave started his morning off going to the gym and then came home, got ready and hopped on his motorcycle. About 10 mins after he left I got a call from him saying that he had just been in an accident, I was shocked and asked if he was ok and he said that everyone was telling him he needed to go to the hospital. He needed me to come get him since the bike could not be driven and of course I was making him go to the er to get checked out!!! What happened is a guy with a flat bed work truck pulled out in front of Dave while Dave was coming through an intersection and he couldn't stop in time so instead of Dave hitting his head on the flat bed of the truck and probably dying he laid the bike down, flipped over it and hit his head on the asphalt first, then put his arm to block the road and got road rash all over his shoulder, elbow, and knee. Luckily nothing was wrong with his head only had a goose egg and road rash since he was not wearing a helmet. I could and should be planning a funeral right now. They got us right back in an ER room and they came in and started checking for broken bones and said his elbow felt fractured and they wanted to make sure his hip was not broken since it was hurting him the most. They did X-rays and everything was fine... no broken bones. they then proceeded to tell him that the next part was going to be the most painful thing he has EVER experienced... they had to scrub out all the gravel in his road rash. It was so hard to sit there watching Dave be in that much pain, but I was just glad he was still with me.
Next on our list is Kruz's 6th birthday party... we had a few close friends and family come to his celebration on sunday the 11th, his birthday is actually the 14th, but we won't have him. We had some pizza and cake and ice cream of course. Kruz got to pick out his cake this year instead of me getting my fav... he did a really good job picking it out too... white cake with strawberry filling and buttercream icing. He had a starwars the clone wars themed party so I bought some guys to put on it. He got spoiled again like usual, his favorite gift was the one daddy and I gave him... an I-pod shuffle. Like I said he is SPOILED!!!!
Last but not least.... I went into the doctor's on the 7th and found out I was right... this baby is going to be bigger than she should. I was supposed to be measuring 31 centimeters, but I am measuring at 33 centimeters and still growing, so when I am 35 weeks which is only 3 weeks away they will do an ultrasound to see when to schedule my induction, so Kassidy will be born sometime in August... I can't wait!!!
I have some prego pics, but they aren't too great... one Kruz did and the other is when we were camping so enjoy LOL.
You are so adorable! I am so glad to hear that Dave is fine and it sounds like he was a very smart driver. Can't wait to see your cute baby!
